The journey towards Norways Lofoten Islands was a 3 day, 2100 mile road trip spanning 8 countries - hours and hours of seemingly endless motorways. The last leg of the journey was crossing the stretch of Norwegian sea between Bodo and Moskenes, arriving at my destination at 3:30 am, still tired after getting only minimal sleep on the 3-4 hour journey. After a very short nap in the camper van it was time to experience my very first Lofoten sunrise. I made my up from Moskenes to Hamnoy just prior to the sun breaching the horizon, packed my camera out and at 5:30am took this - my first Hamnoy photo.
